While on vacation in Philadelphia, my wife and I had the opportunity to stop in at the Tilted Kilt in King of Prussia.
We took a look at their wing selection and they have:
- original bone in wings
- grilled wings
They come in your choice of three different sauces.
- TK Signature Sauce (Sweet & Spicy)
- Tilted Sauce (Medium Heat)
- Kilt Burner Sauce (Hot)
We decided on the Kilt Burner Sauce with the original bone in wings. We did also ask if we could try the signature sauce.

In an order you get 12 wings for $9.99 but you can double your order for only $6.99 more. I’d say if there’s going to be more than one person eating them, definitely go ahead and double the order.
At first taste, there was absolutely no heat whatsoever but the flavor was fantastic. It was a rich blend of spices, herbs and a few ingredients they wouldn’t let slip that made the meat sing in my mouth. After a few bites, I started to feel something of the heat trying to poke it’s head out, but I’ve got to say that these are definitely not ‘hot’ wings. They may be if you’re not used to spicy foods, but if you’ve ever had either Franks Red Hot or Texas Pete, you’ll definitely not really be able to tell there’s heat here.
We got a little dish of the original sauce. That was sweet, tangy and almost had a ‘fruity’ flavor to it. it definitely is a sauce that is set above other sauces I had tasted.
They’ve got a fantastic selection of on tap and bottled beer in domestic, foreign as well as micro/craft brews.
The have several large screen televisions on the walls that can be seen from just about anywhere in the place and they always have some sort of special or event going on there.
I highly recommend this place if you ever get to the Valley Forge area of King of Prussia in Philadelphia.
